Fisher Price Friday - Christmas Music Box

Today on Fisher Price Friday I wanted to share the 12 Days of Christmas Radio Music Box Pocket Radio #756. This sweet little pocket radio was made in only 1973.  It has a green and white wood case and a red and white plastic strap.

Each side of the radio has lithographs of the gifts from the 12 Days of Christmas.  Such as the piper piping, 5 golden rings and a lady dancing.

The bottom of the music box has the musical notes from the first line of the song.

The top of the pocket radio has the Fisher Price logo, the toy number and the name.  It also references that the musical movement was made in Switzerland.

The back of the radio has a very 1970's lithograph of a drummer drumming, a lady (dancing perhaps?), the partridge in a pear tree and the numbers from 12 to 1.

As the music box plays the same drawings that are on the sides of the box show on the front.

I love our little box, a perfect Christmas decoration to bring out this time of year.  The kids have been carrying it all around the house.  Fortunately these music boxes are tough. :)
