Fisher Price Fridays - Ornaments

Today on Fisher Price Fridays I'd like to show you the smallest Fisher Price Little People toys yet.  I discovered these cute little ornaments just last year.  Hallmark had been making them since 2007 but I somehow missed the memo.  There have been 12 ornaments so far, with 2 more being released this year.  I read online that this will be the last year Hallmark has Fisher Price ornaments, as they won't be renewing their contract with Mattel.  Boo hoo.

Hallmark Fisher Price Ornaments:

2007 - See 'N Say
2008 - Play Family Farm
2008 - View-Master
2009 - School Bus
2009 - Chatter Telephone
2010 - Play Family Fun Jet
2010 - Zookeeper Says
2010 - Play Family School
2011 - Music Box Teaching Clock
2011 - Play Family House
2011 - Little People Lil' Movers Fire Truck (doesn't look vintage to me)
2011 - Snoop 'N Sniff - Limited quantity
2012 - Corn Popper
2012 - Two Tune TV

I only chose the ornaments that I had full sized toys to go with.  I would love a Play Family Farm and View-Master from 2008, but haven't found one for a reasonable price.  The Play Family Farm sells for over $100 on eBay!  Crazy.

The Play Family House has amazing detail.  It opens just like a full size house.

The front has a working door bell, tiny people looking out the windows as well as a car and driver.

I have the newer version of the Play Family House #952, which was decorated in the brown tudor style rather than the original blue and yellow, but the house design is the same.

The Music Box Teaching Clock is a "magic" ornament because it plays music.  It is my favorite because it looks exactly like the big one.  Amazing!  The clock hands move around just like the full size.

Look at the detail, isn't it impressive?  This little clock winds just like the big one and plays the same tune.  My parents bought this one for me from Hallmark (it was a 2011).

Now in comparison to the full size Teaching Clock #998.

The Play Family Fun Jet is from 2010.  I found it used but in new condition online for a steal!  The airplane door opens and shuts (just like the big one).

Cute little people looking out the window.

The front of the plane has the same pilot as the original jet.  My (big) version does not have a pilot.

My plane is from the Jetport #933 while the ornament plane is the older version #183 that was later added to the #996 Play Family Airport.

Last but not least the Play Family School was also released in 2010.  I found this one new-in-box on eBay for a bit less than the retail price.  It also has many fun features including a door that folds out, roof that flips up and a bell that rings.

Here is the comparison to the full size Play Family School #923.

Here they are decorating my tiny little "play room" kids Christmas tree last year.

This year Hallmark is releasing the corn popper toy and the Music Box TV #114.  I'm not sure if I'll buy the popper but I will absolutely get the music box tv since I have the big size.  I believe the retail for the music box is around $19.95 and the popper $13.95.  A tip is to look for them at Kohl's, that way you can use a coupon or Kohl's bucks and get them cheaper.  I was able to get my Play Family House last year for 1/2 off!  Oh, and if you see a Barn for a reasonable price send it my way. Ha!

    1. Aren't they adorable? The girls would have the cutest little Christmas tree if I had them all on there. :) What's nuts is that I pay more for the ornaments than the full sized toys! Ha!
